CallGov BD ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

CallGov BD is designed as a directory app. The contact information shown in the app is bundled with the app or stored locally on your device for faster access (for example, cached data and your favorites). We do not require an account and we do not collect or store your personal contact list on our servers.

2. Permissions and Usage

To provide certain features, the app requires the following permissions:

Phone (android.permission.CALL_PHONE) Used to place phone calls directly from the app when you tap a contact's call button. This is user-initiated.

Internet (android.permission.INTERNET) Used to open external links you choose (for example, websites or messaging apps) and to load remote content if the app provides it. We do not use it to upload your personal phonebook.

Network State (android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) Used to check whether your device has an active network connection to improve reliability when accessing online features.

3. Favorites and Local Data

If you mark a contact as a favorite, that preference is saved locally on your device. Clearing the app data or uninstalling the app may remove locally stored preferences.

4. Third-Party Services

When you tap actions like Call, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, Telegram, or a website link, the app may open third-party apps or services on your device. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

CallGov BD provides contact directory information for convenience. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or completeness of any contact information, and you should verify critical information through official sources when needed.
